Jessica Gourley Promoted to Senior Vice President
Jessica currently serves as Director of BSA and has been an integral part of South Georgia Banking Company throughout her career. She has served in numerous roles including Proof Operator, Teller, Customer Service Representative, Deposit Operations Assistant, and Loan Processor before advancing into leadership within the Bank Secrecy Act department. Her extensive experience and dedication have helped strengthen the bank’s compliance program while supporting the growth and success of her team.
Jessica has a genuine passion for Bank Secrecy Act compliance and anti money laundering efforts, an area she describes as especially interesting and rewarding. Throughout her career, she credits the outstanding people she has worked alongside for helping shape her professional journey and contributing to her continued growth.
Outside of work, Jessica and her husband, Timothy, stay busy supporting their three children. Their son, Will, recently graduated from the University of Georgia and was recently married. Their daughter, Gracie, is an upcoming junior at UGA, and their youngest daughter, Emma, is an upcoming high school junior.
In her new role as Senior Vice President, Jessica looks forward to continuing to develop and grow her team while helping South Georgia Banking Company maintain the highest standards of service and compliance.
